On the morning of September 25th, Chongyang Institute for Financial Studies at Renmin University of China (RDCY) visited the Iranian Embassy in China, and had an in-depth exchanges with Hassan Shahbeig, envoy of the Iranian Embassy in China, on the topics of China-Iran relations, think tank dialogue and cooperation intention in the Silk Road School of Renmin University of China (RUC).
Wang Wen, Executive Dean of the RDCY, introduced the progress and achievements of the exchanges between China and Iran in recent years, and recommended the Silk Road School of RUC. Zhou Rong, senior fellow of RDCY, Yang Qingqing, director of the Research Cooperation Department of RDCY, Zhang Haoyun, assistant researcher of RDCY, and Mahdi Zadehali, third secretary of the Iranian Embassy in China, attended the meeting.
As one of the major countries along the “Belt and Road”, Iran has closely exchanges with China in the fields of economy, trade and humanities. Both sides hope that through communication between think tanks and universities, the two peoples will have deeper understanding of each other.
