From September 17th to September 24th, RUC Vice-President, Wu Xiaoqiu, led a delegation to visit Egypt, Ethiopia and Zimbabwe. The delegation visited The Chinese Embassy in Egypt，The Chinese Embassy in Zimbabwe, Egyptian Council for Foreign Affairs(ECFA), Ain Shams University, Ethiopia’s HuaJian Group’s International Industrial Factory, University of Zimbabwe, Confucius Institute at the University of Zimbabwe and other places of education. The delegation surveyed the different universities and committees, observed the students, and strengthened the cultural understanding and relationship between China and these three African countries.

The delegation visited Ain Shams University and discussed future cooperation between the two universities.
The delegation visited The Chinese Embassy in Egypt.
The delegation arrived in the capital of Ethiopia, Addis Ababa, and met with an Alumni of RUC who is now working at The U.N. Economic Commission for Africa (UNECA) and the Office of Korea International Cooperation Agency in Ethiopia.
The delegation visited HuaJian Group’s International Industrial Factory and learned the business and development of Ethiopia.
The delegation visited Confucius Institute at the University of Zimbabwe’s place of teaching, Mosi-Oa-Tunya High School.
The delegation attended a “Know China” conference, where Wu Xiaoqiu gave a speech on “China’s Economic Development Experience”, put on by Confucius Institute at the University of Zimbabwe.
The delegation attended the Confucius Institute Annual Council.
The delegation visited the Chinese Embassy in Zimbabwe where they met with ambassador Guo Shaochun.
The delegation visited Lionsgate Private College and surveyed the schools teaching techniques, teacher’s strengths and discussed the future education of Zimbabwe’s youth.
