Essam Sharaf is former Prime Minister of Egypt(2011), former transport minister of Egypt(2005). He served as a senior technical advisor of UAE municipal government in 2003. In 2015, he founded the Sharaf Foundation.He got the bachelor’s degree of civil engineering at Cairo University in 1975, and got Ph.D. from Purdue University in 1984. Meanwhile, He became an assistant professor of highway and traffic engineering in Cairo University. In 1990, he became the assistant professor of civil engineering at King Saud University and was promoted professor of highway engineering in Cairo University in 1996, and served as the senior adviser of ZFP transport and aviation department of Saudi Arabia.
